Dear Diary,

After what happened the other night, I'm still afraid that it could possibly happen again. I talked to my friend about what happened, and she was pissed! She says that I should leave him immediately, but I don't think its right because I know that Ishmael isn't always like this. We've been together for a long time, and I know that alcohol can make people do things that are out of character. We made up, and he promised to get help asap. I'll be right there for him and never leave just as I promised from day one. I don't break promises.
