Darling ghost, when you see people broken by hope, it breaks you too. People who have given up are so heart wrenchingly fragile. As if like even the soft breeze will shatter them.  Bearing feeble, brittle and glass soul they are barely hanging on to life. So they die a little every day because they have abandoned hope, and given up all that they live for.
