Week13-IUP
Alo diary! Back again with me, Aulia. Days have passed like a hurricane, and a lot of things have been happening in my life. These past few days have been busy and kind of hard, if you were to ask, but i got a pleasant chance to have a little discussion with an Information System alumni batch 2014. His name’s Ammar Fauzan and he was there to tell me a little bit of his job and its plus-minus as a data scientist.
Remember how i tell you about what i want to be when i grow up? If you’ve already forgot it, let me remind you again. I have a dream to work as a system analyst on an established company. That’s why, i asked him some questions that can improve my knowledges about the job i want to dive into. He told me that when we are working on a start up company, studying new things are something we require to do due to a regularly-updated knowledges and competencies. We also need to be adaptive to the fast-paced working life, and be smart at prioritizing things. Sounds challenging, isn’t it? Other than that, he also recommended me to join some internships on start up companies in Jakarta to get some experiences to fill on my porto folio.
Also, yesterday, my mom sent me a video of her telling me what is my parents expectation on me when i finally become a graduated college student. You can watch it from the link provided below! There will be my life plan that i hope will come true as well.
