June 23, 2019, New crypto currency

Dear Diary,

Sitting in an auto. Dont have earphones. An idea just popped up. 

You know how I lost so much into ripples. Even though this technology is so great and a really bold idea, what happened exactly. I think it was the gambling, the betting on their actual value. 

So i think, 

A crypto currency whose prices do not vary with people's sentiment. But is attached to something real. Like the old currencies had their base as gold. What if this new currency varies in price based on some real hard, measurable, metric of the world as a whole. That could be a global currency uniting the world. 

I think a lot of people have thought about it already, it's not that difficult, maybe there is some pitfall.
