Dear Diary,

So Kemper was downstairs for a good chunk of this morning. I didn't think much of it until he handed me a phone (a phone I have never seen before) and he said it was for me. When I said "hello", it was my dad on the other end. Kemper went on the roof and left me privacy to talk to him. Before the conversation could end, I was in tears. Dad is upset I left, he is upset about a lot actually. I apologized for so much! Maybe later I will summarize more of our conversation, I am still reeling from it all.

After I was done talking to my dad, I went on the roof and Kemper was laying on the hammock. He just smiled and said that he thought I might want to talk to him.

I feel a little better after talking to my dad. I am amazed Kemper tracked him down. I would ask him so much more but I am just emotionally exhausted right now and feel like taking a nap.
