 Dear Diary, today was a good day. I have very little time left before the next semester begins, and I want to make the most of it. I plan to rest properly and indulge myself enough to last me for a while. Today I watched a cartoon; tomorrow I’ll watch Lost in Translation. Maybe I’ll finally finish Naruto.

I’ve started learning GDScript. So far everything is going well. I think I won’t give up — I’ll make my game. I keep coming up with more and more ideas for the lore, and now I know it won’t be a typical Tamagotchi. (Or maybe it will be, just with story elements.) I’m not sure yet.

Right now I’m at a family gathering at my relatives’. When I get home, I’ll study GDScript a bit more, because once the semester starts I don’t know how I’ll manage to balance everything.

Well.

I’m sure everything will be fine. I feel more optimistic than ever, even though my life situation and my social standing are, of course, almost at rock bottom. But whatever. We’ll get through it.

I’ve also decided to cut down my phone use — anything is better than spending endless hours on TikTok or Reels.
