Day 2. Release
Okay, here goes another one. I once again have things to share. Let's start with some information about me. I'm a huge Plushie Dreadfuls junkie, and I have more than 100 of them at this point. At any point of time now there is a plush (or maybe even more) at my desk or near me. They are like a friendly companions, that bring some calmness and tranquility into my life. So, up to this point, I had a rule and a system in place. Here's how it goes:
At any point of time I have one "main hero" plushie. This hero is the plushie that is around me at the moment. Who will be that hero is determined by a randomizer, that I "wrote" in Google Sheets using ChatGPT. This randomizer shows me the next plushie, the picture of the plushie, etc. It also tracks which plushies were picked before and which weren't. The goal is to not "leave any plushie behind." The result is that eventually every plushie I have gets picked, but after that only the random decided who is next, and it does so based on weights - the more often plushie is picked, the less likely it will be picked the next time. I used this system for quite a while now, and it works nice, but.
But I want a change. At first my brain resisted the change, thinking it was wrong to change "the way" I do this. But again, I'm my own master, so can't I just shut my brain up and do how I see fit? And the answer is yes - I can. So, from now on, new rules are in place:
- I still keep my randomizer and it does the same thing, but! Now it selects the "guest" plushie - not the main one. The guest plushie will still be around the same time as before - about 7 days (lol, some Ring references here) - but now the guest plushie will not be the Batman, it will be the Robin! Why so? Because I want it to be so, and my will be done! So, Robin will be joining Batman as well, but will not be the main hero.
- And the main hero now will be the bunny that I chose to be at the current given time, which can be either one day or one hundred days - up to me. So, this allows me to pick a bunny that I really want to pick right now and not feel guilty about not picking the other ones, since they will be getting their "screen time" as Robin via The Great Randomizer.
With that out of the way, the only unresolved plushie-related question left is "How to name the White Bunny?" He was one of my first ones (was supposed to be in my second ever order, but they sent me a different rabbit, so I had to wait for some time for them to send out this little guy), and he is the main hero now, and probably one of my favorites at the time. I'm having a really hard time naming this guy, I want it to be so special. I was afraid of naming him wrong, with the name that doesn't represent him properly. But then I decided that he will be a being of many names, so no matter how I name him, he might have another name at any point of time. So, his first name is Delirium! He's the Hapless Bunny my Diary is named after (or is it me?)
Anyway, that's not all. I also had a therapy session today, and it was related to my low (very low) self-esteem). I won't be delving deep into the details, what I want to tell here is what homework I have received:
- Write 100 things that I like about myself, my achievements, etc.
- Come up with phrases or words that I can compliment myself with. I decided that some cool English quotes from HOTS characters, like Alarak, would sound the best for me and won't feel as cringey.
- Maybe something else, I forgot, waiting for my therapist's written assignment, because my memory is shitty af.
So, that would be all for today. I will add a picture of a Robin (I'll relate to the plushies as "Batman" and "Robin" from now on, signifying who is who), a blue kitty, who's name is Captain Claw!
Bunny's out!
