Dear Diary, 4 years ago, when I was in 6th grade, I was very happy because Muslims will celebrate Eid al-Adha. I couldn't wait to see the cows and goats that would be sacrificed. That night, I went to bed early hoping the day came quickly. It was finally Eid al-Adha day. I was excited to go to the mosque with my family to do the Eid prayers. As I was arriving at the mosque, some goats were already there. After finishing the Eid prayer, residents usually ate together at the mosque or other places. Before eating, residents prayed over the food that had been given, as an expression of gratitude. After that we immediately ate, the atmosphere was lively, I really enjoyed the food. After eating, we cleaned up our food containers and headed back to our respective homes. When I got home, I got ready to go to the mosque to see the cow and goat sacrificing. After getting ready, my uncle invited me to my cousin's house, at first I wanted to refuse, but in the end I went there.
Arriving at my cousin's house, my uncle took me to see the cow and goat sacrifices there. I refused because I wanted to go cycling with my cousin, so my uncle went to see the sacrifice alone, and I cycled with my cousin driving and I sat at the back. We were about to reach the rice fields, the road to the rice fields was steep. My cousin asked me to go down the steep road, at first I was scared, but finally I tried to be brave because my cousin was driving it. When the bike came down, I panicked for fear of falling. It turned out that we were fine, we laughed. I was so challenged to ride a bicycle and ride a bicycle with my cousin on a steep road, so we went back up again to go down the steep road again. At first I felt safe, but when the bike was about to go down I panicked because the bike was going very fast, so I pressed the brakes as hard as I could but the bike shifted even more, and in the end we both fell. When I got up my pants were torn, It hurted so much. My legs, arms and chin were scratched, then when I held my teeth, it turned out that 1 of my upper teeth had become crooked and broke in the middle. I also checked the condition of my cousin, his pants were also torn and injured. I panicked and was afraid that his family would be angry with me when they found out that their child was injured when he fell off his bicycle because he was riding with me.
Finally we looked for a source of water to clean the wound, with all our might we walked up and guided his bicycle.
Finally we found a water source, we immediately cleaned our wounds. When finished we went straight home, fortunately it was not too far from his house. When I got home, my uncle had finished looking at the cow and goat sacrificing, then I asked him to go straight home and not telling him about the incident for fear of being scolded. Finally I went home. When I was at home I was asked by my family, apparently they saw something different about my teeth, then I explained what happened earlier. I was also advised not to repeat this, and I cried. That night, I could only rest while my family burnt meat skewers to eat. I really wanted to eat the satay, but I couldn't eat because my teeth hurt so much. So during Eid al-Adha I did not eat meat at all, and lamented my fate.
