Dear Diary, when I was in junior high school, my friends and I held a very big event, namely starlight. Starlight was held on 7-8 November 2021. At this event, we are a united generation making stages, food stands, and other events. competitions are also held specifically for elementary and junior high schools, apart from that there are also talk shows that invite well-known speakers in Indonesia.
At the time of the event I held the public relations division. I got the task to control the continuity of events. however, when the event started, there was an incident, namely that female participants had not been allowed to enter the gym, but almost all female participants were already in the gym. at that time I was confused because of the limited communication between girls and boys and the large number of participants. I immediately controlled the situation there and finally the problem was solved. on the second day when I was watching an art performance, one of the parts of the stage that we built collapsed because of the overload on it. I was surprised and the committee friends immediately helped the participants who fell from the stage. at that time the situation was crowded and out of control. the incident injured approximately 7 people participating in the arts performance. the audience panicked and the situation was very chaotic at the GOR. but the event organizers tried to calm the participants who were panicking and there were also some who helped participants who fell from the stage. and after 3 hours of the incident.
Finally the stage can be repaired again and the event starts again. The event was finished and closed by the principal of SMP it Ihsanul Fikri on November 8. This event taught me how important it is to maintain togetherness and cohesiveness together.
