The black parade
The car parades of hazard lights of death past as I sit at an intersection , once each in motion carrying people with independent destinations come to a pause
A pause in the acknowledgment of importance for those who are currently linked by a recent tragedy to stay connected,
A pause that causes us all to stop . Wait and watch , a reminder of how short life is , perhaps a moment of thoughts and wonder of the situation that led to the current caravan of death .
We all pause by force to pay respects as they pass .
I hope one day we will all be United to take a moment to pay respect to strangers in life as we do during those 2min of forced reflection. May we all have that same amount of compassion for others while they are alive that we do for them sitting at an intersection, as they pass us by , after the have passed on .
