Dear Diary,Well, it was a long day up at 4:30 am mixed feed and put out 35 rolls of hay. Didn’t feed for Colton, after him getting mad and telling me he was not 5. Took him to the café for breakfast first time to go on Sunday morning Since Callie passed. It was kind of a tradition. Colton did well with it, but it felt off to me. One of Colton’s friends from the arena, I didn’t really know him or his family, Callie used to let Colton go over to their house. They ask Colton to go with them to a horse sale. I wanted to say no so bad, but Colton wanted to go and Callie new them and let him go with them before. I headed back to the house and did the books, cleaned the house, and looked for everything Colton has misplaced. House work is ranked up there with grocery shopping.

Colton and Callie had an amazing bond I never remember them auguring about anything if Callie told Colton to do something he just did it he never questioned her with me that’s another story. They talked about everything. I was a little jealous of them. When it came to roping, gather cattle, anything on a tractor Colton is my buddy.

I got to thinking about it after writing an overview of what happen to Callie and Colton yesterday. Colton went through so much that night he says he doesn’t remember anything but I think maybe he does and doesn’t realize it. It would explain a few things based off what he was saying when the Deputy first found him. I feel like I need to just give it time and hope he opens up

Colton made it home about 6 pm. He seemed to have a good time. He was talkative, so that is good, we tried meatloaf for dinner He ask me not to do that again, he pulls no punches about my cooking.

It's so funny, I have so much running through my head, I can’t seem to get it out on here hope that changes before I give up on trying. Oh well, try again later, Colton wants us to play a video game
