Dear Diary,

Public diary huh? Interesting..what the hell. Give it a go, what's the worse that could happen? Not fond of the writing style though...very...odd. 

Anyway. I won't go into detail but I'm a security guard. Work 12 hour shifts up to five days a week. Overnights are...fun. always weird stuff happening.

Honestly never thought I'd find myself working a job like this. According to the other guards here some of the buildings are haunted. The normal stuff. Sounds all over like banging and shuffling. Knocking. Lights turning on and off. Doors opening and closing. Every once and a while you'll hear voices.

Due to my nature and personality I often get stuck with security checks. It's not that I don't believe or I'm not afraid...I just know they mean no harm. It's more attention seeking then...well..anger?Its hard to explain but I can just....feel? Sense? Not sure the correct term..I just know they mean no harm.

Ontop of all that one of our checks is a mile walk in the dark along one of the local rivers. Also fun. More weird stuff there too. More animal then paranormal but occasionally you'll come across these massive paw marks in the mud on the path after it's rained or snowed. Despite all this it's a nice job. Keeps ya busy.
