[WEEK 7]
Hello..
So, yesterday I interviewed an alumni.
His name is mas Gamal. He's working as a database engineer, it's kind of related to what I wanted for a job. The result of the interview is that I know a few of pros and cons about his job as a database engineer and a little description of what his job is. He said that as a database engineer, you have to do works like designing a database, retrieve data according to user needs, database optimization, and database backups. It's quite interesting for me because it's very cool actually. The minus of his work is according to mas Gamal, working as a database engineer is not really familiar in Indonesia so the work still less well defined and also still not knowing how much database tool to advance at, whether you have to advance at every tools or no.. so the conclusion is that the jobdesc and scope still kind of not well defined. Then he gave me some advice for what I have to do if I want to be a data scientist and it helped a lot.
Beside that, I also interviewed my mom.. and now I know what my mom expectation for my future and it becomes my motivation to continue growing and do my best.
