Subject: I love being in love with me
Dear Diary,
Today is a wonderful day. You know why? It is pleasantly cold and I did not feel like getting up for classes. However, I did and it was beautiful outside. Even with the cool breeze around, the sun was shining in full force but it wasn't hot - it was warm. My jackfruit tree friend, Jackson (I am absolutely the best at thinking up names) was basking in the sun. I look at myself in the mirror and smile. Have you ever seen yourself in the mirror, really seen yourself? Those gorgeous eyes staring back at you? The curves of your body that you think you know but you don't? I felt beautiful, even more when I smiled. You see, smiling is the best thing in the world for me. When I smile, I feel like everything is all right. And now, it is night but it's amazing. You know why? Luna is going to be out there and I am going to meet up with her. If you wonder, Luna is the moon. The name is not terribly original but I couldn't think up a more suitable name for my best friend, an entity who knows all my secrets. I think it is too long so I will take your leave and write in you again.
