Dear Diary,
I have no idea why I decided to keep a diary again, I am terrible at keeping up with them, but here we go I guess.
We have made a lot of changes in our lives which includes me becoming a stay at home mother again, homeschooling our child, getting a new truck, and other things. I am very happy with all the decisions and it has made our lives much brighter.
We are seeing a psychiatrist for our son on tuesday, we are nervous but we are getting the help he needs. We believe (through proof of many tests from professionals) that he has ADHD and/or sensory processing disorfer. We will find out for sure soon. He really struggles with hyperactivity, impulse control, and self regulation. Our son has improved so much since we decided to pull him from public school and started homeschooling. His focus has gotten better along with his reading and writing skills. He never did well in a public school environment, always being labeled the "badkid". He was coming home in tears daily not understanding why he is so different and HE'S ONLY 6. This just isn't good for our children. Public schools expect way too much out of our young children these days. So since my husband and I are in a position where we can take charge, we are doing so, and so glad we did.
I incoperate all my baking into the lessons too, I bake all our breads of any kind from scratch and make jams and jellys and basically make everything to save us money on our grocery bill. Plus I really really enjoy it. Now so does our son, it truly is a great bonding experience.
Again, I have no idea why I decided, again, to start a diary. But while I am here, thank you for listening.
