I've been having really vivid bad dreams lately. They really are not helping with the S.A.D. I'm experiencing already.

One dream, a co-worker called me to tell me we don't have enough people to serve so we're shutting down and I'd be laid off. Seemed pretty real, and unfortunate being I just got a promotion after two years.

Dream two, I was in a kayak in some foreign area and noticed a kayak sunk to a shallow part of this river we were in. I get out to inspect, and was attacked by crocodiles.

Dream three, I was at my co-worker's and good friends house, and we were on his porch discussing my first dream oddly enough. I noticed a big cat in his back yard (cougar) and his cat Tommy took off after it scaring it over the fence. Tommy continued the chase outside the yard, and the cougar ended up getting Tommy and taking him up into a tree. He is my friend's ESA.

Dream four driving on a highway at dusk (I'm not driving) and our driver ends up having a health issue which results in us wrecking the vehicle. We died.

Why so many dreams?! Why are they all awful?

Dreams are often related to our situation based imagination. The fact tgat you remember your dream means that you were probably having these dreams while not in deep sleep instead in light sleep, where you were semi-actively participating in the creation of the scene. Its alright to have thoughts like this when we are feeling a little sad. You should not worry about it. Instead accept it as it is. Sadness like happiness is your own emotion. Next time you feel sad, Feel it and try to understand/examine what is it that really feels, try to pin point the feeling and try to write in words what it is.. And it wont bother you again... You'll be alright with its presence. 😊
